In Balance is excited to announce that we have added Education Provider to our menu of services.
In partnership with Tri-County Regional Energy Network (3C-REN), we are now providing trainings on the new California energy code - yes, it starts January 1, 2020! - Zero Net Energy (ZNE), and high performance construction, among other topics.
We are currently scheduling sessions for the following modules:
• Residential ZNE for Title 24 2019
• All-electric ZNE – Heat pumps and electric appliances for residential and small commercial
• Residential retrofits –Title 24 2019 and best practices for high performance
• Non-residential envelope and renewable energy for Title 24 2019
Additionally, we plan to present modules in 2020 on other topics such as:
• Non-residential mechanical and lighting for Title 24 2019
• Tight envelope – Best practices for products and detailing
• Commissioning for non-residential projects
• ZNE in the field: Cost-effective construction for achieving Zero Net Energy residential
These trainings are being funded by utility ratepayer fees to deliver regional energy efficiency programs and come at no cost to the hosting organization. We can also provide customized training directly through In Balance to meet the specific needs of a firm or project.
